[00:00-00:01] Today is a sad day. [00:01-00:03] Because one of my favorite Korean restaurants [00:03-00:04] told me they're struggling to stay open. [00:04-00:06] They haven't been able to pay rent. [00:06-00:07] And fear the landlord may kick them out. [00:07-00:09] So today, my friend Tony and I [00:09-00:11] are gonna share with you why we're big fans of this restaurant. [00:11-00:13] When we got there for lunch, it was completely empty. [00:13-00:16] But we started off with the pork belly barbecue combos. [00:16-00:17] It's $25 per person. [00:17-00:19] It comes with pork belly and a bunch of sides. [00:19-00:21] I absolutely love the homemade kimchi. [00:21-00:23] You grill it and then combine it with the pork belly. [00:23-00:24] It's an incredible bite. [00:24-00:26] The pork here is like really good. [00:26-00:27] One of my favorite, I would get pork here. [00:27-00:28] The quality of the meat here is amazing. [00:28-00:30] The eggs were trying to spicy pork backbone. [00:30-00:32] They slow cooked the pork bone for hours. [00:32-00:35] Then they finish it on the grill with their signature spicy sauce. [00:35-00:36] That pork was so tender. [00:36-00:38] It's just disintegrated in my mouth. [00:38-00:40] And that fatty tender pork, there's just something [00:40-00:43] so satisfying about combining it with the rice ball. [00:43-00:45] I've never had anything like this so good. [00:48-00:50] This is the best thing I've had in this place ever. [00:50-00:52] We also got to try their braised beef short ribs. [00:52-00:54] Also, fall off the bone tender. [00:54-00:56] What I love about this place is that the food [00:56-00:57] is really good quality. [00:57-00:59] They make everything from scratch. [00:59-01:01] Their price point for the quality, I think, is very fair. [01:01-01:02] I would love for you to try this place [01:02-01:03] and let me know what you think. Holy shakes. Yes, Holy Shakes. I got their famous family Smash deal for four people, but it's all for me, to be honest. Comes with two burgers, one classic cheese and one Crunch Munch. Comes with two Chili Frankies, once chili chicken and once chili paneer, masala fries and four milkshakes for 39, 99. Let's eat. Hmm, it's bussing. I love the pickle on top, that sauce. 10 out of 10. Classic cheeseburger. Mm hmm. Yeah. Let's try the chili Frankie with the chili chicken. Are you kidding me right now? Hmm. You got an amazing cake. This is dangerous. You know, these masala fries are bussin. But Holy Shakes milkshakes are the best I've ever had. The Biscoff milkshake from Holy Shakes. And I promise you will never want another milkshake again. Oh, the lychee. Only $40 for all that food. I'll see you at Holy Shakes.

Holy. They're from Unmistakable Dessert in Mississauga, and I'm just. I'm just gonna go with. Ready? Oh, god, these are gonna be gone in 2 minutes. Go for a pineapple. Oh, I've heard such good things about the pineapples. Double pineapple. Believe. Like crack. That one had, like, sour dust on it. Oh, my god. So good. Try them out.

How much food I can get for $10 versus how much food Asham can get for $10 in Toronto. Buckle up because we're gonna eat a lot of food. First up, we went to this Chinese bakery where we found this chauffin for only three 95. For three 95 you get a boatload of noodles. And to be honest, this filled us up. But for 80 cents, we also got this cake. It was ultra fluffy. But with only five dollars and twenty five cents left in my name, I brought Ashham to this Asian bakery. I slurged 75 cents on a barbecue pork bun and eating it felt like a warm hug, literally. But with my last four dollars and fifty cents, we got this ham and sausage balmy and I thought I bought a lot of food for $10, but I couldn't believe the amount of food ash was able to get for $10. He brought me to this diner where we spent $7 on a fee. We started off with a chicken clubhouse sandwich for two 95 and it's a solid clubhouse sandwich, but we also got a whole cheese cheeseburger for $1 95. But it gets even better. For $1, 35 we got a fried egg sandwich. At this point my belly was bursting. But with our last two dollars and sixty cents, we bought this piping hot apple fritter. Really tasty, but it burnt asham.

This is how much food you can get for $40 at one of the busiest farmers markets in Toronto. Buckle up because I'm about to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner here. First up for breakfast, I got an apple and cinnamon mochi and a cute little sushi for $9. Kinda sad the sushi lost its head, but it was delicious. And I love how fresh that mochi was, super soft and chewy. Next up for brunch, I got this Pakistani paratha plate. The paratha is a flatbread stuffed with potatoes and is made fresh to order. And let me tell you what, that chutney sauce, it's a flavor explosion and it gets even more flavorful when you add the char pickled veggies. It comes with chai and a soup called Dal for $15. And that warm soup is perfect for a cold winter's day. But for $6, I got this bean pie. The coolest thing is that the owner sources all the ingredients from the farmers market to make us pies. And last but not least for dinner, I got a momo and noodle combo. For $11, you get a beef, chicken and veggie momo and a ton of noodles to slurp.

This is everything we ate at the McCain Happy Friday's Cafe. We were literally in fries heaven. You start off by entering through this mega sized fries entrance into one of the most magical experiences. After ordering everything off the menu, they gave us this potato and told us to drop it in this tube. What happened next? Surprise. Your potato goes through this potato journey and then you get your fries from this fun pickup window. We were hungry so we ordered a lot of fries. We were most excited to try these unicorn fries. I was surprised to find that the rainbow sauce was actually savory, but the McCain Tasty Tacos might be my favorite bite. They were oozing with delicious melted cheese and it got me dancing with joy. After having fun fries with milkshake for dessert, my wife wanted to visit the merch shop while I continued my fries adventures by snacking on the McCain Smile Stackers. Would you do a place in Oshawa? There's a place by me that could really use a good review. The food is amazing, but their business is suffering due to the neighborhood. Babe, do you wanna go to Oshawa? What? So I don't own a car and Oshawa's about an hour away. So my wife and I rented a car to go on a little road trip to Oshawa. I'm so happy that my wife packed some snacks because at Pickering I was already getting a little hungry and these snacks definitely carried me through until we got to the sushi spot. We got to the sushi spot around 12:30 and sadly it was actually pretty empty. But the owner recommended three sushi's and we're excited to try them. My wife is in the car with me. Hmm. It is a hot sushi, I think, cause they deep fried it. I think the thing I like about this is the sauce. I've actually never had sushi like this, but it kind of works. Next up, we got the Osaka roll. They have shrimp tempura in the middle and they have imitation crab on top. Give one to the wife. I don't know if you wanted to come on the camera or not or your Gucci over there. I'm good over here. Hmm. I like this one. Hmm. I really like this one. I think the mayonnaise actually makes this hit. This one's fire. I would highly recommend Osaka Roll. Last But not least, spicy tuna. Spicy salmon. It's lightly fried on the outside. Mmm. Mmm. This is like a comfort food, sushi almost. It's like late night, 2:00am, craving sushi. They have some pretty unique rolls that I haven't found anywhere else. So, hey, if you're in Oshawa, definitely check this place out.

If you're down for road trips, Mingi's in Midland is amazing and seems to be struggling since Covid. Best kimchi I've ever had. So I don't own a car. So my wife and I rented a car to drive almost 300 km round trip to Midland. It took us almost two hours one way. So, you know, I had to make a stop to get some snacks to prevent me from getting hungry. My favorite were probably these Cheez its and my wife got her favorite fuzzy peaches. But after almost two hours of driving, we arrived at Mingi's. It's a takeout only Korean spot run by a husband and wife. We ordered four items, but it was a lot of food. Like there's probably two whole chickens in this Korean fried chicken. But how does it taste? It's a very light batter, very juicy chicken. This dish makes me very happy. This is the curry shrimp udon. Mmm. It's a creamy curry flavor on fresh udon. This is a very comforting meal. This is the dish my wife has been looking forward to eating. It's the Brussels sprouts and crispy pork. Okay, heat the two together. Yo, let me try. Let me try. Yo. Holy rap. That's a flavor bomb. These portions are absolutely massive. This thing weighs 5 pounds. I'm not even kidding. There's a ton of umami in this bulgogi and it's super tender. You get so much beef. What I love about this restaurant, it's a Husband and wife working together in a kitchen, and they cook everything at a very high standard. If you're in Midland, I highly recommend them.
