Finally trying a Philly Cheesecake in Philly. I'm into the OG Pats. This place apparently invented the cheese cake. Ooh, I got this one with cheese whiz. It's really chewy. I may have just been a bad bite. This is ass. The meat has the texture of an aroused nipple. It tastes like there's no salt on it. The bread is super dense. Two cheese steaks for 35 bucks is insane for this. So far, I'd give us a 4.2 out of 10. I don't even want to try the next one. This is the cheese steak with provolone. Look at this meat. There's well done. And then there's shoe leather. It literally just looks like meat, onions, and bread. I don't even really see the cheese. Brat. Honestly, it kind of just seems like they made this with no love at all. When I tell you that is the worst cheese steak I've ever eaten in my life, 2.2 out of 10. It literally just tastes like boiled meat between bread with nothing else. No seasoning? No nothing. Terrible.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, some of the best Philly cheesesteaks are right outside of the city, and I've been seeing this one at Verona Pizzah all over TikTok, so I needed to go check it out myself. This pizza shop in Maple Glen is so passionate about their flower, its organic, non-GMO, and imported from Italy. So I knew the pizza was gonna be good, but I didn't know it was gonna be this good. I love any combination of hot honey, pepperoni, and ricotta, so we had to get their hot honey pepperoni. And then the only thing I think I like even more is a mushroom pizza, so we got their fungi. I love the flavor of the crème fraiche and fresh garlic, and they even put a little sourdough in their crust, which makes it so light and airy. Definitely some of the best pizza you're gonna get around here. And then we drove all this way for the cheesesteak. This was by far the biggest cheesesteak I've ever laid eyes on. Their bread is homemade, and it could barely fit all this meat. There was literally enough meat for another sandwich. And it was so cheesy, I loved it, I ate half, and then was full for the rest of the day. I'd say it's worth the TikTok hype and a trip to the suburbs.

If you're in the mood for some fantastic Southern barbecue, then you have to check out Sophie's barbecue in Havertown. We tried them a couple years ago and we loved the food so we were so excited to get back. The rib-witch and the onion blossom were two of the newer menu items and we loved those so much. Of course we had to try the brisket cheese steak as well as the barbecue platter with the mac and cheese and the burnt ends. They also have a great selection of cocktails as well as dessert. If you haven't check them out, now's your time.

I just found a Dominican street food spot that stayed open till 6 a.m. And trust me when I tell you this food will not disappoint. Let me put you all on. Edel-Nine steak and fries are ours as a Dominican street food rustle and queens. I know I'm not the only one that gets late nine monchi. The music, the vibes, the smells were all incredible when I walked in so I knew the food was by the head. I had to get a couple drinks to start, including the passion food slushy and the lemonade, which both hit the spot. I had to get to our iconic steak and fries with our homemade yum-yum sauce. They were cooking up that steak and preparing those fries by the front of me. And based off that first bite, I could tell that steak was quality meat for sure. It was so good I needed more of that steak so I got the full combo meal, which also came with Spanish rice, which is seasoned to perfection, and plantain with bread nicely with the yum-yum sauce. And you already know how the steak fries combo was sitting. They just introduced a new menu item called the Monchies, which came with freshly fried chicken colored pieces, rice, fries, and a few of those sauces, which complemented the chicken nicely. Tought it out for the chicken chimis sandwich, which is a Dominican classic, and this one was fired. The chicken was juicy tender and the sauce, the lettuce, and tomato really complemented that flavor too. Say this post immediately, I'll get a spot in 8.8 out of 10 on the bus and scale.
